Rapper Kid Cudi will perform at Esports World Cup in Riyadh

The Esports World Cup in Riyadh is welcoming famous faces from around the world, from footballer Neymar to DJ Steve Aoki. Now, rapper, actor and fashion icon Kid Cudi will be headlining the event. He performs on 25 August, and here’s how to get hold of tickets.

Kid Cudi hails from Ohio, United States. He moved to New York to start a music career and met his mentor, Kanye West. He first gained popularity for his song Day ‘n’ Nite, which was published on his MySpace space. His hit singles include Erase Me, Mr. Rager, Make Her Say and Pursuit of Happiness.

Over Kid Cudi’s career, he has sold more than 22 million records. He has won two Grammy Awards. He has also worked with artists including Ariana Grande, David Guetta, Eminem and Shakira. The multi-hyphenate, whose real name is Scott Mescudi can also be seen on screen in the hit movies Trap (2014) and X (2022), and the television series Knuckles (2024).

Kid Cudi has also worked in the fashion industry, working with big brands such as Coach, Calvin Klein, and Levi’s. In 2022, he released his own clothing line, MOTR.

The Esports World Cup, previously known as Gamers8, celebrates gaming. The event brings together the greatest gamers and includes amazing artists. After the games, there’s a chance to catch DJs, singers and rappers.

The Esports World Cup is currently underway in Boulevard City. Kid Cudi will join the AFT_r events, also known as after-show. The line-up has already included Blacky, DJ Snake, Don Toliver and Wiz Khalifa. Plus, on 25 August, the American DJ Steve Aoki will close the event.
