AROYA Cruises opens bookings for its 335-metre floating resort

You can hop aboard the ship as early as December this year.

Saudi Arabia has been making waves in the tourism world; and last year, it introduced the AROYA Cruises, the first-ever Arab cruise line brought to you by Cruise Saudi. This adventure ride, fueled by the Public Investment Fund, is all about giving Saudi locals, expats and tourists an out-of-this-world experience – exploring the wonders of Saudi Arabia, right from the sea. And now, it has announced that it’s open for bookings.

Guests can now book a cruise trip across the Red Sea and hop on the ship as early as December 2024. Currently, the trips set sail from Jeddah and back to the city, however, there are plans to gradually also make stops in Egypt, Jordan and the AROYA Cruises’ private islands.

Tickets for the three-day cruise trip are priced at SAR1672 per person, but the third and fourth guests travel for free – which means it’s a perfect getaway for friends and family.

The AROYA Cruise is a 335-meter floating resort, promising an unforgettable journey across the Red Sea. It features 1,678 cabins offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Suites and villas are also available on the cruise if you’d like to amp up your already-luxurious journey.

Spread across 18 decks, the ship boasts 20 entertainment venues including a 1018-seat theater and an expansive kids zone, with a splash area and five thrilling water slides. Shopaholics will feel right at home at the AROYA retail area and also hop on over to the wellness area for some down time. Exclusive spaces for women can also be found on the ship.

On the culinary front, AROYA Cruises will feature 15 restaurants — inclusive of five complimentary restaurants and 10 speciality restaurants. 13 cafes and lounges will also be aboard the ship. 

The name AROYA – it’s a mash-up of Arabian and roya, which means vision or dream. The name captures the vibe of the brand-new cruise line which is all about spoiling you with top-notch facilities and an epic shoreline excursion program.

The launch of AROYA Cruises aligns perfectly with Cruise Saudi’s master plan which aims to welcome 1.3 million cruise passengers every single year by the time 2035 rolls around.
