Surf Abu Dhabi welcomes Ilios Beach Club and Nalu Surf Club
The two venues are located on Hudayriyat Island.
Surf Abu Dhabi is already causing a splash. Located on Hudayriyat Island, the venue will welcome two new venues, Ilios Beach Club and Nalu Surf Club. So, if you’re looking to catch some fun, food and waves, here’s what you need to know.
On 13 September, Nalu Surf Club will open a hip and happening hub that aims to foster a surfing community. The design draws inspiration from the California coast. The space spans different areas: the Wave Lounge includes plush sofas, stylish sunbeds, and surf views, and the Oak Bar Lounge boasts a menu that embodies the spirit of the ocean. Plus, as the sun sets, DJs fill the air with hypnotic beats.
At Nalu Surf Club, Executive Chef Denis Placereani’s menu includes Latin American spices and Asian-inspired dishes. Breakfast dishes include Egg Royal, Huevos Rancheros and Thai Crab Omelette. Lunch and dinner dishes include Goong Saron, Lobster Catalan and Steak Sandwich.
Claudio Zarlenga, the General Manager of Nalu Surf Club, explained: “We are incredibly excited to open the doors of Nalu Surf Club and offer an exceptional dining experience in such a unique location. Our aim is to create a welcoming environment where families and surfers alike can relax, enjoy delicious food, and make lasting memories. With our diverse menu and stunning views of Surf Abu Dhabi’s world-class wave, we are confident that Nalu will become a beloved destination for locals and visitors.”
Ilios Beach Club promises day-to-night parties. Spread across two levels; the upstairs Euphoria Lounge boasts a balcony with views of the world’s largest artificial surfing wave. While the downstairs area features an indoor dining space. Plus, poolside cabanas, loungers, and the Apollo Bar sit poolside. Sip on cocktails inspired by Greek mythology or dine on a menu of modern Greek-Mediterranean flavours. As the sun sets, Ilios transforms into an Ibiza-style lounge with a Mykonos twist, promising captivating DJ sets that will have you dancing until dawn.
