FACT Award winning Mélange teams up with Tania’s Teahouse

Enjoy the new whimsical afternoon tea, Fairies & Fungi.

Don’t worry if you put jam or cream on your scones first. At Tania’s Teahouse, nobody is judging. The much-loved concept has expanded across the UAE. The Insta-worthy café can be found in Dubai Hills Business Park. To celebrate the opening, the new flagship venue has launched an afternoon tea with Nadia Parekh, the founder of Mélange for Fairies & Fungi.

Following a collaboration with Bloomingdales in Dubai Mall and a residency at ME Dubai, Nadia Parekh of Mélange is now bringing her culinary talents to Tania’s Teahouse. A former clinical psychologist, Nadia traded her stethoscope for a spatula and is known for her extravagant cakes and gooey cookies.

The Fairies & Fungi Afternoon Tea aims to transport guests into storybooks and combines creativity, comfort and nostalgia. The experience includes a flying butterfly fluttering out of the menu, and a burn-away black forest cake that reveals a hidden dessert. The afternoon tea is available daily from noon and starts from AED 300 for two people. Prosecco and Sparkling Wine options are also available.

Tania’s Teahouse in Dubai Hills spans three spaces and can host up to 135 people. Collectus Studio is behind the design, which features neutral tones with pops of colour. The venue is classy and cosy, and includes artwork, books, ceramics and trinkets. Look out for the secret door that leads to the tea room, which boasts a speakeasy vibe and is also licensed.

Tania's Teahouse

Tania Lodi is the mastermind behind Tania’s Teahouse. After she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder, she found teas with health benefits. At the heart of the café are nutritious options, from protein add-ons to gluten-free choices. Plus, the new menu includes breakfast, salads and mains.

“My mission with Tania’s Teahouse has always been to turn my painful and uncontrollable health journey into something positive. It’s my purpose. Functional wellness and the mind-body connection are my passions. They’ve been instrumental in helping me manage Lyme disease and Lupus. I’ve endured harsh treatments, and through it all, I’ve learned to listen to my body’s needs. Sometimes, patience and gentleness are the best medicine.”
