Singapore’s Revolver Restaurant will set Dubai’s culinary scene alight

The acclaimed Indian concept will open in The Opus by Omniyat.

Dubai is home to innovative Indian restaurants, from homegrown brands to MICHELIN-starred marvels. Now, Singapore’s Revolver Restaurant is making its way to the city. Located in Business Bay, it will open in The Opus by Omniyat in December.

Culinary Arts Group is behind the expansion of Singapore’s Revolver. According to reports, Revolver Restaurant in Dubai will be four times larger than the original venue in Tras Street and can accommodate 140 diners.

Revolver’s name is a play on the word, and reflects how the concept revolves around the charcoal grill, brazier and tandoor. At the original restaurant in Singapore, there are three tasting menus and a vegetarian menu. The dishes draw inspiration from different regions of India. What makes the experience stand out is the charcoal twist and smoky flavours. Highlight dishes include Barramundi with Mango Dust, Charred Fennel, Kulchette Butter Chicken with Parmesan and Truffled Burrata.

Culinary Arts Group will bring a range of restaurants to Dubai. The group will open Maison Dali in The Opus by Omniyat. The name is a nod to the Spanish artist, Salvador Dali, and it will showcase food from the Basque country. It will also bring the Singaporean restaurant Hamamoto to Dubai, which focuses on sushi and kaiseki.

Culinary Arts Group’s director, Tristin Farmer, is no stranger to the region. He was previously the Chef Patron at Marina Social in Dubai and worked at the three-Michelin-starred restaurant Zen in Singapore. Now, he has confirmed that he will return to Dubai with his own restaurant.

The Opus has become one of Dubai’s top dining destinations. It is home to Japanese hotspot ROKA, homegrown favourite The Maine Land Brasserie, and hip nightlife hangout Salmon Guru.
