The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai launches Manolo Blahnik-inspired afternoon tea

The Ritz-Carlton, Dubai has introduced a Manolo Blahnik-inspired afternoon tea experience, that brings together food and fashion. Taking place at the Lobby Lounge, this afternoon tea experience is called The Craft. As the name suggests, this activation will take you on a journey behind the scenes of Manolo Blahnik. You’ll get access to virtual archives that showcase the luxury brand’s artistry. 

As you step into the Lobby Lounge, you’ll instantly notice the shoe sketches fetched from the archives. This will feature the brand’s pieces and include classic collections, seasonal styles and any exotic pairs that Manolo Blahnik has crafted.

Promising to blend flavour with fashion, the afternoon tea menu will also take heed from the Manolo Blahnik archives. Treats such as finger sandwiches of confit duck and chicken terrine, red velvet madeleines, chocolate mousse, strawberry Victoria cake, cookies, macaroons and of course, scones, will tempt you. Each treat will be crafted to pay homage to the brand.

For those unversed with Manolo Blahnik is an iconic shoewear brand that has been dressing celebrities for decades. The brand, backed by a Spanish designer of the same name, started in the 1970s with a flagship store in London. It soon became a favourite footwear for the elite, pushing the luxury brand to new heights. Currently, it has stores across the US, Spain, Singapore and many others, including Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Priced at AED 265 per person for the traditional set and AED 355 per person for the Royal Set, The Manolo Blahnik ‘The Craft’ Afternoon Tea is available until Wednesday, 25 September.
