Luxeglamp UAQ: A high-end eco resort will open in Umm Al Quwain 

Set to open in 2025, the site will contain ten glass domed rooms.

Umm Al Quwain is set to welcome a luxury glamping resort. Luxeglamp UAQ will be an eco-friendly development. Set to open in 2025, the space will be situated among the mangroves in the northern Emirate. 

Luxeglamp UAQ will be located in a glass-friendly domed mangrove. The rooms are situated in a glass dome, and include wooden walkways that lead to the mangroves. The site includes 10 rooms across 1,000 square metres. Each room includes a hammock, plunge pool, patio and sauna.

Created in 2019, Luxeglamp launched its first project in Poombarai in Kodaikanal, India. In 2023, the company created its second resort in Poopara, India. Each of them will make the most of the location, and showcase the site’s natural beauty. Luxeglamp UAQ’s founder, Antony Thomas, explained: “We are strong ambassadors of the harmonious existence of nature and hospitality”.

Luxeglamp in Poombarai boasts views of a waterfall on one side and a valley on the other side.  Luxeglamp in Poopara sits between cardamom plantations, and is surrounded by views of lakes, mountain, valley and lakes. 

Umm Al Quwain is the largest city in the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain. Located in the peninsula of Khor Al Bidiyah, it was previously home to pearling. Recently, Millennium Hotels and Resorts signed a tourism cooperation deal, and announced that it would create future tourism opportunities in the emirate.
