Shola Ama and Scottie B will headline Dubai’s new R&B festival

R&B Lovers will feature glitter stations and confetti showers.

UK-based collective R&B Lover is gearing up to bring its celebration of 90s and 2000s R&B to Dubai, taking the stage at P7 Arena in Media One Hotel On Saturday, 9 December.

Headlined by some of the United Kingdom’s most renowned R&B artists, this indoor festival promises to take attendees on a nostalgic journey through the golden era of R&B. Accented by glitter stations and confetti showers, their live performances will have audiences revelling in soulful melodies and infectious beats. Leading the way is British singer Shola Ama, whose emotive voice has captivated audiences worldwide. With chart-topping hits like Imagine, Still Believe, and You Might Need Somebody, she is sure to bring her signature style and energetic stage presence to the event. Elsewhere in the line-up is the renowned duo Bedrock, known for their seamless blend of R&B, soul and hip-hop.

Legend Scottie B will follow suit, supported by none other than Dubai’s Whitley Ruchea and Walia. We’re told that the event will be hosted by MC Ultra. “We couldn’t be more thrilled to bring this extraordinary celebration of R&B to Dubai,” said the organisers. “The event and experience we have curated represent the very best in the genre, and we cannot wait to create an incredible atmosphere that will transport attendees back to the golden days of ’90s and ’00s R&B.”

Tickets for the R&B Lovers headlined by Shola Ama are now available now via Platinumlist, with prices starting at AED 150. VIP tables are also available; they start from AED 2,000.
