Regionally inspired rooms and restaurants are coming to Hotel Indigo Al Khobar

The hotel is scheduled to open in the Eastern Province in September 2027.

Saudi Arabia has been upping the ante with new hotel openings across the Kingdom. And while luxury resorts are taking over the region, so are properties catered exclusively to business travellers. To accommodate this growing need for keys in the Kingdom, IHG Hotels & Resorts is expanding its footprint with the opening of Hotel Indigo & Residences Al Khobar.

Making its way to Saudi Arabia in September 2027, Hotel Indigo & Residences Al Khobar promises to be the go-to spot for travellers. With over 200 keys, including hotel rooms and serviced apartments, the property will offer a diverse range of accommodations. From unique design elements inspired by local culture to culinary delights showcasing the region’s flavours, every aspect of the hotel will be designed in a way that celebrates the Eastern Province.

At the new property, you can look forward to indulging your palate at two distinct dining venues: the Neighborhood Cafe and Lobby Lounge. Five meeting rooms and a spacious ballroom on-site provide the perfect setting for networking events or any meetings that you need to attend while you’re in Saudi Arabia. With recreational amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, and spa, the hotel ensures that your stay is not only convenient and comfortable but also relaxing.

In addition to Al Khobar, Hotel Indigo will open a 250-key property on Neom’s Oxagon Island in 2026. Plus, a hotel in Riyadh’s Mohammed Bin Salman Nonprofit City in 2025.
