Cipriani

Cipriani is an institution. The brand is known across the world for its famous Venetian fine dining. The family motto is “to serve is to love”. Now, it is spreading that Cipriani love to Jeddah, and is scheduled to open at Fayfa Avenue in Al Tahlia. We can expect Cipriani Jeddah to include the brand’s signature nautical colours, which range from blue sofas to white tablecloths. Plus, the menu prides itself on using simple ingredients to a high-quality standard and offering signature dishes from Harry’s Bar in Venice, including Carpaccio “alla Cipriani”, Calf’s Liver “alla Veneziana” with Fried Polenta, Baked Tagliolin, Risotto “alla Primavera”, and Vanilla Meringue. And because the menu is anchored in Venetian favourites, produce and premium ingredients have been sourced from Italian farms, adding a sense of authenticity.

Jon & Vinny’s

Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Jon & Vinny’s will bring Italian flavours to La Paz Plaza on Prince Sultan Street. Jon Shook and Vinny Dotolo are the masterminds behind Jon and Vinny’s. The restaurant was created to serve Italian food reminiscent of nonnas—aka Italian grandmas. The casual spot is already popular with celebrities and has been a date night spot for A-list couples. Kim Kardashian Pete Davidson, Chrissy Teigen and John Legend, and Jay-Z and Beyoncé are just some of the names who have been spotted sharing slices of pizza. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the menu includes pizzas and pasta galore. The pizzas include a Breakfast Pizza 2.0 with potato, egg and red onion, La Woman with local burrata, tomato basil and olive oil, and The Rosy with tomato and olive oil crust. When it comes to pasta, the Rigatoni with six-hour beef bolognese and stunning Spaghetti Limone won the FACT team over in the capital.

Meat The Fish

The Lebanese-born brand Meat the Fish is opening in Jeddah, and it will offer premium produce. In 2012, Meat the Fish was created as a delivery service. As the name suggests, it offers high-quality meat and fish. The online platform sold more than 100 products, which included Australian beef, Dutch veal, French chicken and Japanese oysters. In 2014, the brand expanded and opened its first shop and restaurant. If the restaurants in Lebanese are anything to go by, we are expecting Meat the Fish in Jeddah to be a hip hotspot serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The breakfast dishes include egg, sweet and savoury dishes, which range from Steak Hache and Fried Eggs to Zaatar on Toast. The main menu covers bowls, raw, salads, sandwiches, sharing and wraps.
