Spanish restaurant Lúnico will open at J1 Beach in Dubai

The fine dining restaurant draws inspiration from the phases of the moon.

J1 Beach is fast becoming the most desirable dining destination in Dubai. The beachfront venue is welcoming bars, restaurants and beach clubs. The latest concept to be announced is the Spanish restaurant and bar, Lúnico. Scheduled to open in November, it will offer a modern take on ancient traditions.

Lúnico draws its inspiration from the phases of the moon. The name itself comes from the Spanish words luna and único, which refer to elements of the moon. The experience is inspired by water, fire, earth and air. The concept aims to blend together food, drinks and music.

Lúnico is open for lunch and dinner, and it transforms from day to night. The culinary team serves fine-dining Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine. The menu includes tapas, mains, and desserts, and dishes include Ceviche Gallego, Galician Octopus, Green Apple Oyster, Vieiras with Caviar, and Purple Potato Mille-Feuille. Plus, the dishes showcase biodynamic products that are harvested optimally during the moon’s cycle.

The drinks menu includes four signature drinks inspired by the four elements, and each one is paired with an amuse-bouche. The elements reflect the phases of the moon and zodiac signs. The drinks include sangrias, wines, a range of gin and tonics, and high-quality spirits.
